Wedding for Omawunmi soon

Beautiful singer, Omawunmi is finally engaged to the father of her child. After 3 years of dating and having a child together we gathered Tosin Yusuf finally proposed to the the bottom belle crooner. Despite several speculations over whom the father of her three year old child is, Omawunmi kept mum and never gave in to pressure until couple of months when she revealed the name of the man.

In late 2013,Omawunmi released the blurry picture of her nuclear consisting of herself, her child ,Emmanuella and Tosin Yusuf with inscription “Thank you so much for your patience. Clearer photos and good news sooner than you know. God is always good”. And like the singer said, Omawunmi Magbele and Tosin Ibrahim Yusuf will walk down the aisle soon.

Tosin Ibrahim, a big player in the real estate industry holds a degree in Business management and MSc in International Business from De- Montford University, Leicester. The handsome man who is the founding director of Lloyd gate limited located at Lekki Phase 1, was part owner of the former Zamuda night club in Lagos. Until now, the Glo ambassador made sure that the full picture of her child who was delivered in USA on June 18,2011 was never revealed.

Beautiful actress Beverly Bassey Ifunaya popularly known as Beverly Naya is a British born actress.She won the award Best of Nollywood’s Most Promising Talent in 2010 and Fast Rising actress at the City People Awards in 2011. Her sojourn into the movie world began when she starred in Lancelot Imasuen’s ‘Living in exile and since then, Beverly has grown to become a household name.

This actress who has featured in several movies flicks like weekend getaway, Stripped, Forgetting June and including Charles Novia’s romantic comedy, Alan Poza said she feel it is better for things to remain the way they are than for her to settle for less when it comes to men.

Bob Manuel Udokwu to contest in 2015 Election

Nollywood actor , Bob Manuel-Udokwu revealed plans to contest for a seat at the Anambra state House of Assembly in the 2015 general elections under APGA. Bob who is the current special adviser to Anambra state Governor on Nollywood and Entertainment stated that he has been in politics since he was given the role of the special adviser on Nollywood and Entertainment in Anambra state under the leadership of this present administration.

 

He said, If you mean I am contesting for a post in the Anambra state House of Assembly, Yes I am interested in vying for a political position in 2015 general elections in Anambra state House of Assembly to represent Idemili North Constituency 1,I want to go to the grassroots.

Udokwu said he sees nothing wrong in Nigerian entertainers venturing into Politics as most of their US counterparts has done. People ask that a lot. Why are people raising eyebrow on it. A lot of people from other sectors have also gone into politics. There shouldn't be an exception. In the US, a lot of entertainers are into politics. Why are journalists always asking this question? We are often called political actors. I don't see anything wrong in entertainers going into politics. I am proud I put Nigeria on the world map as an actor. There is nothing bad in it if I do that in politics as well.

 

Funke Adesiyan too

Like most of her counterpart in the entertainment industry, Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan has also joined the race in politics. Seems this time Nigerian celebrities wants to show they have more than talents and pretty faces. The tall actress who was once linked with another Nollywood actor, Saheed Balogun, sent out a BBM broadcast on her phone informing all her contacts of her political ambition. Though the political party is yet to be disclosed, Funke intends running for a  seat In Oyo state come 2015.

Basket mouth shares experience

Talented comedian, Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth reveals how he started his career before he got a breakthrough, he said people that are able bodied but beg on the streets rather than work or find a good means of survival are lazy, “People that has two hands and legs should try to think of what they can do for themselves”. The Glo ambassador stated that if he was not a comedian, he would have done something else that could have made him better than who he is today. He further revealed that he went as far as taking the job of a disc jockey just to survive in the street which is even the more reason why his jokes are street base.

“I earned N8.000 in my first show in Jos which was co-host with fellow comedian, Julius Agwu, i had no room to sleep and had to beg Julius to let me sleep in his room and I had to sleep on the ground, Basket mouth explained. He added that he had to take “standing” from Benin to Lagos in a Luxurious bus just to come to Lagos for shows, I owe a lot to Ali Baba and 2Baba who always support me with the sum of N500.

Iyabo Ojo speaks on first marriage

Beautiful actress, Iyabo Ojo, has admitted that her foremost marriage crashed due to lack of maturity, which she has grown to identify and make amends. The producer of Arinzo stated further that she had to walk out of her first marriage because it was becoming something that could affect the future of her children and career. “It was not an easy decision but I had to take it because it was getting to a point that I was not finding fulfillment in the marriage, so I had to move on with my life.”

The mother of two accepted that it took her time to resolve into what she actually wanted because she needed to be sure she was not about making another mistake.
She added that “I went through a lot before falling in love again. I had to wait because I wanted to be sure it was the right move. My kids are growing up and I don’t want to tell them stories that touch the heart. My man has been a blessing to us all. I am happy that I made the right decision. My career is on point and you can see what I have done in the last two years. Those things would not have been successful if my man didn’t stand by me”.

Ghanaian actress, film producer, Singer, Juliet Ibrahim, says her rumour of having an affair with Nollywood actor and model, IK Ogbonna, is not an issue to her because she is in the public eye. The two have been sighted together severally at functions but have come to debunk the tale of dating.

Juliet stated that people can say whatever they like, she is not bothered because she has read several writ-ups and it is not a must that she must reply to everything.

 The actress who won Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2010 Ghana Movie Awards for her role in “4 Play” accused the media for escalating what is not an issue just to create a scene that they should rather focus on more important issues at the moment such as the deadly Ebola virus. She called on the media to stop bothering their selves on rumours but rather, they should help create awareness.

 Ik Ogbona on the other was recently sighted with a his Columbia girlfriend ,Sonis Moralez at the Encomium black and white gig and the actor said he will be settling with her at the end. Juliet who recently had a break from her marriage of several years has also been linked with former Mr Nigeria, Brian Okpara.
