Kunle Afolayan revealed that his new movie, October 1 which was premiered on September 28^th 2014 at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos gulped nothing less than $2million. In his exact words, he says, ‘It’s a $2million budget film’.

Ini Edo's Marriage to Phillip Ehiagwina troubled

Marriage of beautiful Nollywood actress, Ini Edo to her American based business man, Phillips Ehiagwina has allegedly crashed. According to the information at our disposal, the marriage which was contracted in November 2008 is said to have been going through a lot of marital crisis for over five weeks now.
nformation has it that the marriage broke down due to very strong allegations of 'serial cheating with evidence. In the past, with issue of infidelity on both parties, the estranged couple, Ini Edo and Phillips who got married in an American ceremony have gone through different marital tribulations but resolved as time progresses.
Further digs reveals that Phillips Ehiagwina demanded to have back the bride price he paid to marry Ini Edo and his wishes were granted by her people.

There are also strong speculations that a group of ladies accosted actress Ini Edo recently and beat the living daylights out of her. The gist was that ''One of the girls who is dating a Lekki big boy named Lewa alleges that Ini has been dating her boyfriend for the past 3 years and it was time to stop and face her marriage but unfortunately Ini's marriage was already over by the time they accosted her......''

After 45years, Nigeria Flag designer got decorated with National Honour

President Goodluck Jonathan has placed Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, the designer of the Nigerian Flag, on the salary of a Special Assistant forever. Taiwo Akinkunmi popularly called Mr Flag Man was a Retired Nigerian civil servant born 10 May 1936 ,he got famous for designing the Flag of Nigeria. The national flag is an adaptation of the winning entry from Taiwo Akinkunmi in a competition held in 1959. The original had a red sun with streaming rays placed at the top of the white stripe. This was removed by the judges and the flag has not been altered since.
               

Ghanaian Beauty Queen deny Davido.

Recently the media was circulated with photos of Davido and Ghana’s Miss Supranational, 2014, Habiba Sinare and there have been speculations about what could be going on between them. Though no one could say categorically that they were dating, but it seems the beauty queen isn’t comfortable with her pictures and that of a music star circulating online, in the past picture of Davido and one or two of his” gals” was circulated on line. Though she uploaded a picture of them on her instagram page, gathered the beautiful queen deleted it when their pictures went viral through another means and she came online to ask people to stop insinuating she is dating Davido.

The beauty queen who is obviously not pleased with the way the pictures went viral took to her twitter page to deny they were dating and said there are a lot of things she’s thinking about right not, and the ‘Ema Dami Duro’ crooner is the last thing on her mind.

You have been scarce lately in movies
I am not scarce, the truth of the matter is I am always very busy, I can’t say I am resting, I have been busy, you can say I have been selective in movies I take now and the roles I take. You get to a level that you cannot do everything that comes your way; you have to select the one you think is good because you owe lot of allegiance to your fans and to yourself you have to keep it moving. If you are passionate about what you do and I believe right now I should do movies that should set me on a better bright light.
Are working on anything presently now?
I just finished shooting an international movie
Is it produced by you?
Not yet, still watching the terrain, would say I am a near getting there, I would like to capitalize on people. You have to understand the terrain properly before you can say you want to produce, a lot of my colleagues are producing but I am not ready for that now. I am watching the water, when the water is still, will jump in it.
Can you tell us about the international Movie?
It is a movie I just finished shooting in Canada, it is shot with foreign Canadian directors and some Barbados, It is a series in Canada and in the states too ,I know some people will not be familiar with. In Hollywood, people buy movies because of its content unlike the way people buy movies here; it is the one with huge contents.
