Princess on why it’s hard to settle down after her first marriage

Nigeria female comedian, Damilola Adekoya popularly known as Princess recently revealed that it’s been hard settling down after her marriage in 2013, as different men from all over the world are seeking her hands in marriage, stressing that some Chinese too have been approaching her over marriage. She said “Plenty people have been coming from all over the world since the first day my marriage broke up. Even Chinese men too. I don’t know. I don’t understand because it is like they googled and watched my videos and a lot of them have also read about my marriage break up and they will tell me that they had wanted to marry me o! “ She cited the case of a Chinese man who recently proposed to her, “It’s so surprising that even someone who is a Chinese and couldn’t speak fluent English would tell me he has interest but I always ask myself where I would start from. A lot of people from all over the world .I just appreciate them and thank them for asking me out but I made them understand that I want to face my work for now and improve on my art and become a better professional in my chosen field and like I said, wait for what God has in stock for me. But for now, I’m not thinking about marriage.” she narrated.

Popular rapper Ruggedman has denied ever dating actress Halima Abubakar and Monalisa Chinda. He said he only has crush on Monalisa but he is seeing someone who is not in the entertainment industry. He said, "You see they always hook me with someone. The same way they hooked me with Maheeda because she wore my cloth for a photo shoot. Before, they said I was dating Maheeda but now it is Monalisa. I am not dating Halima Abubakar also. I have spoken about my relationship with her. We are not dating but trust me, I am in a relationship but not with someone in the industry. Asked all of the ladies he has been romantically linked, which of them he has a crush on, Rugged said "I would have loved Monalisa Chinda. Have you seen her live? She is so fresh" he said

Pasuma revealed reason he is not married

Fuji star, Alabi Pasuma is one of the most popular musicians in Nigeria. Recently Pasuma revealed that all is not well with him, that there are certain things he would love to change about himself, he also spoke on reason he has not settled with any woman till date. I don’t want to rush into marriage, because if you rush in, you rush out. I already have kids out of wedlock. When the right time comes, I would think about marriage, but for now, it’s not in my plans. On changing some things about him, the musician said “If I have a chance, I would want to change my extravagant way of spending. If I have two million naira today, it would finish today, yet I can’t state the tangible things I did with the money. That is the way I was created. But in my next world, I will want to spend less and save more”.

Popular music act, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall said his upcoming concert tagged “K1 Live Unusual” will correct a lot of misconception about Fuji music. The concert which will feature top performers like Tuface and Olamide, will take place at the Eko Hotel and Suites on November 21. Kwam 1 said the purpose behind the concert was to present good music in a unique way, a music different from what Nigerian music lovers have seen in the past. He stated that the idea was not entirely new. “Although, some people started it, we are going to add more flavours to the fun. We call it unusual because there are lots of misconception about fuji music. Some people even said it’s the music of the touts, but these are absolutely false and untrue. The fact is, fuji music remains the leading and surviving indigenous music in Nigeria” he added. One of the ‘unusuals’ is that, for the first time, a fuji artiste is going to headline a show, that has leading Nigerian entertainers such as 2face, Lagbaja, Olamide, among others.” Kwam1 also spoke about the influence of fuji music on pop music. He said fuji music could not be isolated from other genres of music in Nigeria. “There is an element of fuji in every song you listened to nowadays. This goes to tell you the importance of fuji music,” he said. When asked if it was easy for the organizers to convince him to perform, he said: “No! Not at all. It’s our idea. It is my dream to see fuji music at a bigger platform.”

Femi Kuti on why he joined Chocolate City

King of Afrobeat, Femi Kuti, recently signed a management deal with Chocolate City. Femi who announced signing a management deal with the record label led by Audu Maikori said he joined Chocolate city because the organisation has great ideas. Femi Kuti, said on twitter, “Signed a management deal with Chocolate city to manage me in Nigeria. Hopeful to do great things in Nigeria with CC. “Yes I’ve been in business for a long time with a lot of international experience but what I love most about Chocolate City is that they are young and have great ideas too”.

About Ibinabo Fiberisima's husband to be

Finally the president of the Actor Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fibersima reveals the face of her husband to be. Uche and Ibinabo who will be getting married in December were recently sighted while on vacation in Disney land and Universal World of adventure.

We gathered Uche is a graduate of English Language and Literature/Letters from University of Ibadan, where Ibinabo also graduated from. He obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the Central Michigan University and later got a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree at the Liberty University in 2013.

His work career started as a Press Intern with the Government House Press Corps in Akwa Ibom State in 1994.He was later employed as a Security Analyst at the Nigerian Consulate Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. In 1998, he joined the United States Army as a Logistics Specialist/Quarter Master. 

From 2005 to 2008, he was Chief Operating Officer, Agape LLC before joining LifeCare Solutions, a Health, Wellness and Fitness company, as Director of Operations. Uche is currently employed as Health Systems Specialist at the Eisenhower Army Hospital, a position he took in 2012.

Their 2-day wedding affair is billed to hold on December 18 and 19, 2014 at Ibinabo’s hometown in Okrika, Rivers state. 

OC Ukeje quits bachelorhood

 

On Saturday, November 8, 2014, one of Nigeria most talented actor, OC Ukeje will be walking down the aisle with his wife, Ibukun Togonu. The private wedding will hold at the Youth Church Hall, Hoares Memorial Methodist Cathedral, located in Yaba, Lagos, while the reception will take place The Incubator, in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Though many may be surprised about this but in 2013 during an interview, the actor said he would finally settle down in 2014.He said “God's willing, I plan to get married next year (2014). There is a woman in my life and she is not into this business. We have never had issues over me and my female fans. This is not to say that she is not aware. She is definitely aware but I am not also settling down with someone that is not good looking because she gets chased by men as well. 

”There are people, who are higher in level than I am, they have more money than I have and might be interested in her. I see some of those and might be worried. It is a two-way streak; she’s scared, I’m scared but we are together and making it work,”

The colours chosen for the D-day are touch of red and grey for the groom, while for the bride are coral and silver.
